Rodney Demps (1953-2020) Florida Highwaymen, Florida Art Hall of Fame Artist. Oil painting 'Sailing the St. Lucie' on masonite. A sweeping wide-water view of the St. Lucie River with palm trees overlooking a passing sailboat and vibrants color and texture in the clouds. A nod to a similar scene jumbo painting by A.E. Backus recently diplayed at the Backus Museum in Ft. Pierce. Signed lower left. Measures  24x48 inch (27.5 x 51.5 inch with frame). Overall excellent condition.
